Learnings from a Job Interview

Yesterday, I was reading an interview, and I got to know about an article where a candidate made every promise to secure a job.

For example,

• He committed to doing extra work,
• Working overtime, and
• coming to the office on Sundays.

Eventually, he landed the job, and he didn’t do anything wrong.However, what went wrong was the overcommitment.

The three lessons I learned from this are:

• Never overcommit.
• Be authentic.
• Stay true to your words.

These principles apply not only to job-seeking but also to life and marketing.
